General Conditions of Sale and Service

Any reservation made with BLACKSTYLE VTC entails the unreserved acceptance of these general conditions of sale.
Payment is made at the time of booking (or no later than 8 days after receipt of the invoice). BLACKSTYLE VTC will then issue a written confirmation with all the details of the reservation and send it by email.
When other carrier companies perform the services on behalf of BLACKSTYLE VTC, the conditions of these companies then apply. The responsibility of BLACKSTYLE VTC is limited to the services actually provided by BLACKSTYLE VTC.
A reservation can be canceled only by email and allow reimbursement, upon presentation of bank details, under the following conditions:

Cancellation more than 15 days before the service = 100% refund of the service.
Cancellation between 7 and 15 days before the service = 50% refund.
Cancellation between 2 and 7 days before the service = 25% refund.
Cancellation within 2 days or no show of the passenger = No refund.

In case of delay, one hour of waiting is included for an airport pick-up and 15 minutes for any other pick-up. Beyond that, and depending on the availability of the driver, the quarter of an hour of waiting will be charged at €25 including tax. In the event of a delay of more than 15 minutes and without any news from the customer, the service will be canceled and will not entitle you to any refund.
BLACKSTYLE VTC reserves the right, and grants it to its drivers, to refuse access to the vehicle to any person visibly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and whose behavior could be considered a threat for other passengers and the driver.
It is forbidden to smoke and/or consume alcoholic beverages in the vehicles.
French law requires the wearing of seat belts for each passenger.
For the transport of children under 10 years old, French law requires the presence of a restraint device adapted to the age of the child (baby seat or booster seat). BLACKSTYLE VTC provides you with this equipment free of charge but must imperatively be informed of the presence of children under 10 when booking. Otherwise, and if the vehicle is not equipped with the necessary equipment, the service cannot be carried out and will not give rise to any reimbursement.
Any deterioration of the material and any damage caused to the interior of the vehicle will be the responsibility of the customer and will be invoiced to him. For the comfort and safety of passengers, the driver takes care of opening and closing the doors of the vehicle when the conditions are optimal. In the event of heavy soiling of the vehicle caused by a passenger, a cleaning fee of €350 including tax will be required.
Under no circumstances may the customer require the driver to exceed the authorized speed limit or commit any traffic violations. The driver reserves the right to refuse any instructions and/or requests from the customer that he considers to be likely to compromise the safety of the occupants of the vehicle and other road users.
Animals are not allowed in vehicles, except in a cage or bag provided for this purpose, and after having previously informed BLACKSTYLE VTC when booking. In the event that BLACKSTYLE VTC has not been informed beforehand of the presence of an animal during the journey, the company reserves the right to refuse the performance of the service without any possible refund.
BLACKSTYLE VTC will always do everything possible to ensure that vehicles arrive on time at scheduled appointments and drop off customers at the scheduled time at their destination. However, BLACKSTYLE VTC declines all responsibility in the event of:

Delays in rail and air traffic.
Delays due to road traffic beyond its control: road blocked, bridge closed to traffic, traffic jams, flooded road, demonstration, weather conditions, interventions by the police, firefighters or customs, etc… (non-exhaustive list).
Delays directly resulting from an initial delay by the customer or from the need to make a trip, at the request of the customer, within a time that is manifestly too short.

In the event of immobilization of the vehicle due to a mechanical failure, an accident, or damage (theft, degradation), BLACKSTYLE VTC will endeavor to ensure the continuity of the route, either with one of these vehicles or with a vehicle chartered from another company.
The responsibility of BLACKSTYLE VTC is limited to the clauses of our insurance contract. Our vehicles are insured for the transport of people and our travelers for all bodily injury with our insurer. This insurance also covers professional civil liability, in accordance with the French regulations in force, pursuant to article L. 3120-4 of the Transport Code. The instructing party shall have every right to take out additional insurance at his own expense covering cancellation costs, repatriation costs, or luggage transported.

These conditions are governed by French law. Subject to legal provisions, any dispute is, by express agreement, the exclusive jurisdiction of the Commercial Court of Colmar (Haut Rhin).
